One on One Photography Mentorship Session with Quincy Warner

In December, I met Quincy Warner at Pumpkin Ridge Equestrian Center in North Plains, Oregon to begin our one-on-one photography mentorship session with our gorgeous models Maddie Fiorante and Hot Time to Zip. Maddie & “Hector” train under the guidance of McCulloch Training Stables and were gracious (and patient) enough to be our models for the hands-on shooting portion of this mentorship. After a quick session discussing settings, posing, light and working with horses, we went to a nearby restaurant to upload the images and have an in-depth discussion on client workflow, software, and editing techniques. Quincy and I discussed how to start her photography business with some practical plans on marketing, branding, and finding her niche and voice.
