Devin Territo is an amazing make-up artist (you can check out shoots we did together here and here) – but I couldn’t wait to get her in front of my lens as a ‘model’ for my one-on-one mentorship session with Kendall Stoy Photography.
Kendall contacted me wanting to learn a few tips & tricks about working with girls and horses – so we spent the afternoon shooting Devin and her Appaloosa mare Sin Wagon (“Claire”) at Andrews Show Horses in Whitesboro, Texas.
Words from Kendall:
“My main goal in a mentorship with Kirstie was to become more comfortable working with girls and their horses. Not only did I learn SO much about that processes, but I was really blown away by [Kirstie’s] true LOVE for these horses! Her passion for the horses she is working with was so apparent and is part of what makes her work so spectacular! Besides that, Kirstie is a marketing and business genius, and I walked away with a ton of new ideas to implement in my own business. Kirstie was an open book all day, and was completely focused on me and my business. I had a blast, learned a lot, and walked away with a new friend. Can’t ask for more than that!”
